That's was me that posted that website. It got me through my TWW. Shame about AF rocking up tho.

I have a question.. I've had 5 periods since going off the pill. Usually cycles between 24-28 days. All of them, AF has been light to medium. Is this normal? Can light periods affect my chances of conceiving?

We only DTD twice because DH has a very sore leg, but hopefully it was enough to catch that little egg! But if we don't conceive this month, at least it seems my body is back to a nice & regular cycle - thankfully!

If anyone is TTC this website is seriously the best! You must check it out! http://www.twoweekwait.com/

Someone posted it a few weeks ago, so for those who didn't see it, go have a look. There's a section called BFP stories where ladies have recorded their symptoms as the DPO progressed - trying not to obsess over it right now
I'm with you on the 2WW!!! Ugh, i hate waiting!

How long are your periods lasting? I don't know for sure, but as long as your AF is turning up at the right time, surely there should not be any negative effect on your chances of conceiving?!

Doesn't the egg live for up to 48 hours before it dissolves? If you get a chance, see if you can DTD when your DH gets home on Tuesday - you never know, that egg might still be there waiting! Best of luck, I really hope it happens for you

Havent been on since last week as been busy with organising my DDs 1st birthday & going to other birthday parties .

I got a light + on OPK on tuesday then a darker + on the wednesday but - since then. Last night was very weird as around 7:30pm I started getting mild lower belly pains bit like AF was on her way but then it became worse & i had to have some panadol (would have taken something stronger but didnt want to risk it just in case) then went straight to bed..I didnt even kiss the kids goodnight or put them to bed DH did that for me. I also had very thin CM more like water not egg whites so im bit confused if that was me ovulating as the OPK says once i get + i should O in 24-36hours which would have made it friday or saturday lastest. Today my belly is still bit tender as if ive been doing some sit ups. Im hoping its not me Ovulating as we havent DTD since thursday...do u think if we DTD tonight we still maybe in with a chance?
If your OPK is now -ve, and was +ve last week, then you are most likely past your fertile window. The general concensus is to have daily sex as SOON as your OPK becomes +ve. Abdominal cramping is an unreliable sign, unless it is one-sided and falls on a regular cycle day (Mittlescmherz = German for ovulation pain).

AF was medium to light for 3 days, now just pink spotting. Not sure why it is so light. Maybe still getting the pill out of my system

    Hi All
I am a mother of DD who is now 21 months old.... This is our first month trying for baby #2. To the best of my calculations I had sex every two days for a week preceding ovulation. I am now around CD24 or OD 10 I took a pregnancy test this afternoon and got neg result. Am I testing too early? I truly believe I have had symptoms for a few days including: Mild cramping, fatigue, temperature, slight nausea. Today most of these symptoms subsided and sore breasts began (which I usually get pre periods). Am I imagining things? I never had any of these symptoms with DD and tested positive with her on date of missed AF. Advice please.
