Thanks for that. I'm so confused on what CD1 is now, I read that you should take it from the 'morning you wake up with it' that if you get it later in the day, it's the next day. The cbfm I bought says the same, but I am going to say that your gyno would know what's right! Thanks again for the advice. Really sad this month. It would have been great to give my family some positive news after everything happening with my mum. Not to be though, fingers crossed for this cycle.

As for early pregnancy testing, I have decided not to test until at least CD28, when period due. But even so, there is always hope until period arrives. Testing before 14DPO is more likely to be negative, even if one is pregnant. Unfortunately for many of us, PMT symptoms often mimic early pregnancy, so that's not much help either.
Do many of you do BBT charting? After a few cycles, you can see a fairly clear pattern emerge, in many women. I know I ovulate CD14 or 15, just by looking at my previous charts. It can be helpful in timing sex. My husband calls it being "on duty"!!

This is the first month I've charted my BBT. Hopefully it will be the last, but if not, at least I'll have something to compare next month too.

    Hopefully you feel better soon

I suspect all the cramping and stuff going on at the moment is pms, but this is the two weeks of the month where I can be hopeful. If AF arrives, then I'll have my breakdown and then move on.

I keep poas, knowing that it is unlikely to be pos. fertility friend said today of preg people at 11 dpo, only 49% got a pos. so I'll hold onto that hope for a little longer.

Hi All, looks like I am joining you ladies.

Had my 21 BT and got my results today showing I did O'd, so the TWW starts now.

As a POAS addict I think I will make it to the end of next week before testing!

This gives me hope. My test last night was a negative, but there's still time

I am clomid, and the first month last month was terrible, lots of emotions and lots of cramps, AF like pains, sore B's everything.

This month nothing, weird. So I think clomid does make things go a bit funny!

I think that if i dont get my bfp this month I am not going to temp past about 4dpo. Once i get those 3 high temps to confirm ovulation im going to stop. Last night i was so worried that my temp would be down in the morning that i had SUCH a bad nights sleep, so my temp would be inaccurate anyway.I am now so tired today which is bad because I am working a late shift today and early tomorrow and I think I am in labour ward today so hard work!! i hate how ttc seems to take over all my thoughts even though i promised myself it wouldnt.
Im 10dpo today. DH gets back tonight. I think I will test sat morn - 12dpo.

I agree. I have read that some women do not temp their whole cycles.
This time around I only started temping at CD7 and will prob stop once I have a sustained shift in temp.

Good luck with your night shift!

Dear Button2012, the great thing about BBT charting for the whole month is that you may see an implantation dip in temperature about 5-7 days post-ovulation, which makes the 2WW less painful! When I got pregnant in May (miscarried 7 weeks), I had an obvious implantation dip. Plus, a completed chart will give you a more complete understanding of the daily BBT variations, which are normal. J (doctor, and I know you are medical too).
