Default Recommendations for soy formula. Karicare or S26???

My 7 month old DS2 has been on Neocate for about 4/5 months for Cow's Milk Protein Allergy. He saw a gastroenterologist recently and we have been advised to do a soy formula challenge when DS2 is 9 months old. I believe that there are only 2 soy formulas on the market - Karicare and S26. Can anyone recommend one over the other? I have a bit of a bee in my bonnet about Karicare, but I could be wrong (maybe!).

Sorry to thread crash, but goats milk protein is very similar to cows milk so can cause the same problems as cows milk protein in kiddies with proven allergy

DS was on Karicare Soy Formula. It did constipate him a little bit but I gave him extra water and occassionally aboutu 10mls of diluted prune juice.

We tried both. S26 was horrible for my DS. His poo was like play-doh and would scream everytime he pooped. Karicare was a fair bit better and cheaper.
