Is it PCO or PCOS? S is syndrome and can affect your hormones the other means excess cysts on the ovaries that generally don't affect your chances, however I THINK that if your cycles are really long, so taking awhile to release an egg, it may affect egg quality. Clomid/FSH meds help with this.
I have PCO and two gorgeous boys.

    Hi Singa,

Doc said its PCO on left ovary after an ultrasound. I went to the doc as I get bad ovulation pains but didn't ask if this was related to the cysts
They also couldn't tell me how long the cysts have been there...
I think I need to find myself a good gyno !
    Do u get painful ovulation?
    Congrats on ur two boys

I am 10 weeks pregnant with twins and also suffered an early miscarriage in January - we were extremely lucky to have conceived twice in a short amount of time (only started trying in december). I have PCO on my left ovary and it hurts when I ovulated. I also have anovulatory cycles.

I am expecting twins - the first cycle I ovulated (after two anovulatory ones) after the miscarriage - maybe it released two to catch up?

We charted for a couple of months before ttc, hubby took Menevit and stayed clear of any alcohol, changed to boxers etc. Then we just had lots and lots of nookie (every second day from CD 9 - 19).

Good luck with your ttc journey x

Hey, no I never had O pains during my cycle, the only time I had O pain was when I was on fertility meds. Are you in Melb?
Lol, I just checked your location, I'm in Sydenham, how funny.
I can recommend you my fertility specialist who is in Richmond and then a good Ob when the time comes, he is in keilor

Sorry I never asked, are u trying to conceive?

Well good luck! Many women with PCO fall pregnant. IF meds are needed are very helpful.

Hi Babylove! I too have been diagnosed with PCOS about 10 years ago but until recently when we decided to TTC hadn't thought much more about it. I used to have painful ovulation but the biggest problem I had with it was that I didnt menstrate for a whole year! I lost some weight and went on the pill "Dianne", which at the time was recommended to help my hormones and it all seemed to regulate itself. Even once I went off the pill, cycles were normal and generally pain free. I did some research myself regarding PCOS causing fertility issues and from what I can gather it will only be a problem if it is affecting your cycles but if your cycles are ok then you should be all good. But the answer I cant find is how it affects the chance of miscarriage, I have heard both yes and no and not really sure which is right.

Congratulations Sticky115! My partner and I also started TTC early Dec and MC late Jan so it brought a smile to my face and hope to my heart to hear of your current situation I have an appt with the Dr this week and am hoping he will give us the green light to try again. Hope all is going well, I have everything crossed for you
