    Default Anyone from Ferntree Gully?

Hello to all Mummies... I'm Juanita. I live in Ferntree Gully, hoping to catch up with other Mums nearby as I am new to this place. I am from Philippines but willing to learn and meet new ideas from Mums like me. I have a 5 months old gorgeous daughter. I'm excited to meet you and your kid/s.

    Hi

I'm also from FTG, soon to be mum (3 months pregnant). It's all a little bit scary right now but also exciting. Are there any soon to be mums out there?

Thanks!!! I actually rounded that off, 3 months in a week and a half, so I haven't had an ultrasound yet and I don't really know whether or not the baby is doing OK. So far things seem to be progressing just fine, lots of all day sickness going on. Good luck, I hope number 2 is on the way! Is motherhood everything you hoped for? Is your 16 month old giving you any troubles yet?

If you feel fine, baby is probably fine
I had all day sickness too, worst in the arvo!
Motherhood, I was not ready for but I'm still learning and love every minute.
My LO is the queen of tantrums ATM lol, take her away from something she shouldn't be playing with ::tantrum:: she wants the bottle and you aren't quick enough ::tantrum:: she's tired and won't go to sleep ::tantrum:: you get the idea :P

Awww cuuuute, until it happens to you I imagine... MS is worst at night for me as well, progresses from bad to extremely bad throughout the day. Wait til the terrible 2's stage that I hear about hahah... or she may turn into an angel by that age! Do you know if you can tell the sex of the baby at the 12 week scan?

Oh it's pretty easy, use distraction to stop her or if it's just her being a ****** (lol) I will walk away. It's hard to walk away but when I do she comes running after me in a good mood cause she wasn't really upset, just trying it on!
Not sure about 12weeks sorry, we did see the sex at 19weeks!

OK, maybe 12 weeks is too early to tell. The main thing now is finding out that the baby is healthy.. and going through the Down Syndrome tests etc (fun fun). Thinking of giving birth at the Angliss...

Yeah I heard of the walking away method, it IS hard to walk away but it works. Tough love is necessary sometimes... Do you have any preference for baby #2, boy vs girl?

I didn't take the down syndrome test, it "can" cause more issues than its worth!
Is there a history of down syndrome in your family? If not I'd try and not have the test.

I'd really like to have a boy!!!! But if it's another girl I'll be equally thrilled
