    Default What fruit is this?

Just wondering if anyone knows what fruit this is? I'm assuming it's fruit to, I truly don't know. It feels kind of like a pear in texture but a pear doesn't have seeds?

The reason I'm asking is one of these has magically appeared over our fence a few times since the tribe moved in next door. My dog is eating it then spewing it up. I'm worried it's bad for him

Looks like a yellow guava. Our backyard tree is dropping fruit at the moment. Google for pics

If it's guava, a friend's dog has been eating them, with no ill effects (just extra gross poohs!)

It looks like a Nashi to me. They are an apple crossed with a pear.

Apple seeds are toxic to dogs, not sure about Nashi seeds??
