    Oh... wait... actually I have.

I had the tiniest sip, that was probably about 3 drops though.

It was NYE, I was 17 and I was at Surfer's with 2 friends. Some older guys (I'd guess about 30-ish) convinced my friends to go with them to their hotel room... I tagged along because it was that, or be abandoned in Surfer's.

Anyway, they asked if we wanted a drink, but didn't wait for a response. I tasted, and it was supposed to be coke and some sort of gross spirit (rum, probably...ew), but I'd say most of it was rum. I could taste no coke.

I went to put it by the bench, and saw crushed powder on the chopping board and some full tablets too. No idea wtf they were, but I didn't drink my drink so I didn't care. I don't think my friends drank theirs anyway.

I locked myself in the bathroom while my friends went to the bedrooms with these guys and called a friend - told her exactly where we were in case something happened to us. Luckily, other than my friends skanking about, nothing happened.

ETA - DP thinks his was spiked, but not by a girl... by workmates. They thought he was amusing... so he feels (and so do his family who saw him afterwards) that they put something in his drink to drug him up and make him funnier. He ended up sprinting away down a highway (out of a pub) and passed out on the side of Gympie Road (for all those on Bris Northside)... and was REALLY lucky that nothing happened other than sleeping on a random spot on the ground.
mine wasn't by a stranger was my ex. we had been separated about 4 weeks and were both quite nice and pleasant to each other even having lunch a few times. no idea why he did it or if he had anything further than spiking planned?

Yes, by people I knew. I don't want to go into details but I'm extremely lucky that it all ended ok.

Yup, but I was with a group of friends and nothing bad happened except about 5 girls getting "drunk" from sharing the same drink.

I was at a friends 30th BBQ party which had quite a few people and a band. after only a few drinks and a couple of hours it I don't remember putting my drink down but I was more relaxed at a BBQ opposed to a club. it was pretty scary thankfully my husband got to me before I was too far gone.

I don't drink alcohol and can't go to clubs because of the whole epilepsy-bright lights thing, so no, never.

But gawd I feel sorry for all of you that have had it done to you!

I haven't but my besti did at a club. We drank the same amount all night, she can handle the same as me, then all of a sudden it was like she drank a bottle to her self. She couldn't walk or anything. I had to call her brother to pick us up from the club. We had to carry her out and she passed out before we got her in the car. Lucky I was with her the hole time.

    Yep and it was bad.

I always, ALWAYS brought bottled drinks n kept my thumb in the top so I knew nothing could get in, and I NEVER put a drink down.... So I'm guessing it was the bartender too

It was also my first drink for the night.

I passed out in the club and security apparently carried me out and literally put me in the gutter! I was extremely thankful that a male friend saw this and followed as by the time he got to me I already had 2 strange men talking to me. (trying to help or not we aren't sure)

I only remember bits n pieces from the night.

I was violently ill for days.

You don't think about going to hospital. You think about going home to try to sleep it off as even though you are out of it you just think you are super drunk. It's embarrassing as you know that it's not what your normally like and I think deep down I knew something was up.
I hid out at a friends place for over a day. My parents found out when I didn't go home to get ready for work. They called the hospital who done an evaluation over the phone and said with how much I was vomiting and for how long it wasn't worth going to hospital as the drug would have left my system and all the would do was rehydrate me which my parents done.

It's extremely scarey. Because I can only remember parts of the night it scares me to know what could've happened.

So yeah, thanks to the bar staff and to the dipsh!t security who would've had a law suit on their hands had it not been for a friend being there.

Wow.... I haven't thought about this for ages... Still gets to me

No, never. But my dad's cousin had her drink spiked when she was 16. She was at a friend's party (at a house, not a club) and the @%#$ raped her :-( I don't know any details as obviously she didn't really talk about it, but we all knew.
