Default pain around previous c-sect scar

I started having pain mainly on the right side of my old C-sect scar from 8 years ago yesterday afternoon, it's still there now, the scar is also a little tender to touch. I rang the maternity ward and they told me to come in if it gets any worse, just wondering if anyone else has had pain from their old c-sect scars and what the outcome was?

Thanks, that is good to know. The pain hasn't got any worse but it was worrying me, will mention it at my next appointment which is in about a week.

It's expected. You not only have scar tissue on the outside but internally too, and all the stretching affects it. Also, I was told u always hurt more on one side, depending which side the OB tied off the "knot"

My last pregnancy I had pains from the scars of my laparoscopy (for a previous ectopic). This pregnancy I have pains from those scars AND my c-sec scar. And the scar itself feels weird, like tender but numb and I get a few sharp pains near the scars too.

I think you shouldn't worry, but if u still are, mention it to your OB

I'm 34 weeks and have started getting a bit of pain around my c-sect scar area as well.. I think it's just the scar tissue stretching as I have another large scar on stomach and get the same sort of pain in that area as well and it's just the scar tissue stretching.
Obviously if it gets really bad then go to the maternity ward. Hope it's just stretching
