Do you need to wear a helmet while on a scooter or is that just for bikes? ?e

I could be wrong - but I thought you had to wear helmets for scooters too. Personally, I'd be telling my kids they had to anyway! (when they're old enough!)

I tell my DS he needs to wear a helmet when he's riding his scooter. He's only just about to turn 3, so he's not going dramatically fast or anything yet. I just though it would be easier to start him wearing one now so he's used to it

At home my kids can ride without helmets. Riding anywhere away from home, they MUST wear helmets whether it's a bike or a scooter.

My kids wear helmets whenever they are on a bike or scooter. I'm not sure of the laws, but that's our rules.

I make the kids wear helmets as well. No idea of the law in regards to it though.
