Talking things you never thought you would *DO* as a parent.... spin off

as a new parent there have been things that i have done that i was never told i would at some stage do to or for my child. just to name a few....

I never thought i would have to stick a bag to my dd's who ha to try and collect her urine (it was difficult to collect a non contaminated sample because she has diahorrea)

i never thought i would sit on the bed with dd waiting for her to finish doing a p poo so i could change her nappy... she has diahorrea from her needles so i was sitting there for ages

never thought i would squirt breast milk in dd's eyes (conjunctivitis)

i have some more but dd needs to be fed so will add later

    share yours

I caught DD's vomit in my handbag.

On a crowded train, on a two hour journey.

The bag had my wallet, ipod, phone, diary and gameboy in it. Oh, and about 6 McNuggets, a drink, chips and an ice cream's worth of chuck!

Wiping up poo with a clean cloth nappy in the disabled toilet after my son decided he wasn't finished pooping in his nappy. OMG, it was terrible and it was spread all over the floor. That cloth nappy went in the bin at Maccas. No way would I ever take that back home in my bag

Never thought I'd try to teach my baby to self soothe. Used to think selfish lazy women did that.

How about cleaning poo of their feet (she was wearing a onsie and it ran down her legs and under her foot).
