Are there really many women out there demanding diamond rings when their baby is born?! Surely not? I've never heard of such a woman. There are just a lot of lovely stories on here about partners who have bought their wife/partner something (i.e. jewellery) to mark the occasion and that will probably become a family aireloom one day. Poor dudes can't do anything right...
Lovely idea and no where near as sickening as the cash cow, oh I mean baby shower - spew!
And a pair of scissors slicing open your vagina (and months of healing)
Totally cool, I signed up for that (and going on 2 years of constantly broken sleep) poor fob, how on earth did he cope with it all lol

I hate the term 'push present' (even more than I hate the term 'babymoon') BUT I love the idea. I'm not a greedy person or demand presents usually but I think it's a lovely way of commemorating the birth. My dad gave my mum a ring after my sister and I were born, it wasn't a bribe or anything, just a lovely expression of how much he loved her. I can't quite describe why, but it gave me a wonderful safe and proud feeling as a little girl.
Hey I'm all for blessingways, but this whole turn up and buy me x, y, z from my registry pls, no thanks!
3 kids, no motherway, blessingway, babyshower.
Now can I have my post baby flowers?? Or am I still demanding and greedy?
