I just stopped giving DS the daytime bottles full stop as he refused to drink milk from a cup. He got used to it really quickly.
When he was younger i gradually reduced milk in night bottles each day so he weaned off it. Worked a treat. So hopefully one or the other of these will help!

We weaned DD2 off the milk bottles fairly gently. To start with, we would have cuddles, story and milk on our bed or the couch, then brush teeth and bed. Then it was a cup of milk during story+cuddle time, then we slowly shifted that cup of milk to dinnertime.

Good luck FOBS and sorry about the tooth

I watered DD's down for a few weeks until it was mainly just water. Then got her ti choose a leak proof sippy cup, and she was happy to take that to bed (with water only) instead of a bottle. Good luck.

We switched to sippy cups and when we felt they were ready to stop taking them to bed we got them to have a drink of milk for supper and then sent them off to bed.
They only asked once or twice and that was it.
