I haven't experienced this particular condition, but I do suffer from an autoimmune disease which affects the bowel which may be similar. Feel free to ask any questions if you think I may be able to help. Will your child be put on medication to suppress the immune system?

Would that be Crohn's disease? That was one of the diseases the GP talked about could result from this sort over active immune system, he also mentioned lupus and MS!

He said considering her age and the fact that she is in daycare care putting her on immune supressing drugs could do more harm then good

Do you follow a strict anti inlammatory diet to avoid attacks?

    Thanks for your help.

I have ulcerative colitis which is similar, and no I don't follow the diet (I should). There is another Hubber who follows the diet for her and her family, hopefully she will see this and pop in!

How old is your little one?
