Budget cut ideas

Looking for cheap (without turning tacky) budget cut ideas.
In particular:
- Centerpieces for $15 or less
- Cheaper seating options for outdoor ceremony venue. $6+ for white chair hire is not happening.
- alternatives to paying big $$$ for live ceremony music. (Trying to avoid using a cd player/ iPod)
- cost cutting ideas for lolly buffets

In regards to music ask at your local hgih school if their string ensemble would like to play at your ceromony for a donation to their program, We use to do lots of weddings in high school.

We went to a rose farm where you pick your own roses and cut themyourself and we use these as the center piece.

Centrepieces... It really depends what type of wedding you are having?!

Get vases from the cheap shop.

Collect sticks (small branches) from the park, hang candles off.
Floating candles in a vase
Fill vase with marbles and a single flower out top

You could wrap a small string of fairy lights around a stick / branch in a vase

Use one of the big glasses / fishbowls from cheap shop and fill with floating candles / floating flowers / a fish

Sand & shells in a glass / vase for beach theme....

Lolly buffet: scour op shops & ask friends to borrow vases. Buy lollies from wholesale warehouse / cheap shop / eBay.
