I KNOW! Some people are crazy! Some of the messages people were leaving I was in shock. Like, calm down, seriously.

Yeah, some were making threats though I have to say my favourite was an older lady (at least according to her picture) who wrote her list in the comment on one of the post.

"Target have lost my business..." ra ra rah... Funnily enough I don't think Target care... Lol.

I'm honestly amazed at these so called parents, the world WILL NOT end if you miss out on a toy.

I get the benefit of the 6 month layby - heck we use it but it's not like my kids will cry if they don't get what they want (they're under 27months )

I am a bit also ashamed of the parents slamming parents though...

I personally think its over rated. The toys are periodically on special throughout the year anyway. Especially when it gets close to Xmas. I can see the incentive of putting things on layby though. Helps people pay it off slowly.

    Exactly
Though some people can and do go overboard... (heck we did one year, and still have unopened toys!)
But for some families it's perfect.

Agreed. Lots of families can benefit from it

I must admit if I were to go though, id end up with a heap of stuff that's not needed! Plus no storage to put any of it lol
