    Hi David,

We are with Phyathai. The surrogacy process is definitely not without its complications but Cathie Sanchez is extremely professional, experienced, mature and able to deal effectively with challenges. She approaches things with integrity on behalf of everyone involved.

    Good luck!

    Hello,

    Clinics and your opinion:
Can you tell me which clinic you selected and why?
I am currently considering AllIVF or Suchada for surrogacy but find no reviews on them. I also considered Jetanin but foreigners must bring their own non - thai surrogate so I have dropped this as it is not a feasible solution.

    Costs
My estimate of costs allowing for 2 cycles of ICSI, pre genetic testing (CGH), a surrogate with multiple embryo transfer (if 1st is not successful) is around 60k AUD. Did you pay a similar amount?

    Appreciate any feedback,
    Vespa

    Hi Vespa,

I have a surrogacy agreement with Thailand Fertility (Cathie Sanchez) who is affiliated with Dr. Thitikorn.

A good starting place would be to contact some agencies, see what their surrogacy packages are and build your estimates from there. I can't answer re: costs as I didn't do CGH and don't know whether what you've outlined above re: costs is good or not.

Research far and wide, get as many responses as you can from clinic/agencies, set up a spreadsheet and compare apples with apples.

If you research forums, you'll find commentary/reviews/experiences on clinics etc... Try Thai Surrogacy Forum.

    Good luck.

    xoxo

    Hello,

I just wanted to say thanks for the information and suggestions. Some days the whole process just seems so overwhelming - not knowing which agencies or Drs to use, having little information on other peoples experiences with either of those, and not knowing if the costs we are paying are even in the right ballpark.

I dont know why it seems so hard to get benchmark information. It is so exhausting.

Hi all WA people (and others too..), I'm organising a surrogacy seminar in Perth the 26th of October, it's a whole day with speakers covering topics on pretty much all you need to know about domestic and international surrogacy. If you would like more information email chatarina.brady@gmail.com I decided to put together this seminar as when I decided to try for a baby through surrogacy, I could find very little information, and it was all so confusing.

Hi, I would like to know if anyone has used Cathie Sanchez in 2014? We initiated conversation re: egg donor program with her which started out well but since then things have fallen astray and before we move forward would love some feedback. Also, we have heard that the recent demand for donors has gone crazy. Where you used to be able to reserve a donor, then make arrangements to fly to Thailand and meet them seems no longer possible....is this really the case? Would love to hear your experiences.

After watching that very intersting program on ABC the other night about surrogacy in India, at a clinic run by a Dr Patel, it's really got me thinking about planning if the last of our donor eggs don't work out. I was particularly interested to read the comment from someone on here, about trying her OE with a surrogate, but then having to use DEs with the surrogate, as I have a feeling that is what we may have to do. My DH is an accountant and is already frustrated/angry about how much OOP we've already spent on IVF, that I really don't know if this will even be feasible for us.
