First ivf cycle and no fertilization

Hi
So had egg collection yesterday with 10 mature
Which were all good. Sperm good too. Phone call from clinic today says that none of them have fertilized at all - out of 10!!! We are so upset as this was our first time and we have been told there is no probs with either of us. If there is no probs why are there not fertilization happening. We are confused and upset and we would love advice or stories from anyone who has had something similar.
Please help.

Maybe try ICSI next time? It increases your chances of fertilization. Sperm quality can change from day to day.
