Hey Koop- I have 4 cousins from the one family. All the boys (3) have red hair but the girl has blonde/brown hair... Might depend on the sex???

This is me and my brother as kiddies. He is a lot darker now though.
Does anyone else have kids or siblings like this? Like, almost complete opposites?

I'm sure people don't believe we are related!

My uncles 3 kids; first girl was dark hair and olive skin (like my uncle). First boy was flaming red hair, pale skin and freckles galore. Second boy had even redder hair, freckled and very pale skin.

Nobody on either side of their family (bar these kids) have red hair. They are the only ones on both my uncle's and aunty's sides. And they look nothing like their older sister.

Weird how it happens (and no she didnt have an affair).

Fil is a red head, he has 7 kids two have a slight tinge of red, the others have black/dark brown hair. All 6 my kids have the odd red strand of hair amongst the brown hair. You only notice them when your doing their hair.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: your DS2 has the most incredible hair colour. I love love love it!

I have a full-blood sibling who is the opposite in looks to me and my other siblings. We are all pale, fair hair, small noses, green/blue eyes and he is very olive/tan with very dark brown (looks black) hair, long nose and brown eyes - same parents just he took after our father whereas we took after our mother. (unless he really isn't my brother, which would be awesome ).

MagicMud aside from the hair i think you and your bro look very similar, you have the same facial features and definitely look related.

Wow, really? The only person who has said I look like my brother is DH, he reckons we have the same 'box head' lol. And someone once told me that we have the same 'facial expressions', haha. But that's about it.
Maybe we looked more alike as kids?

I'm pretty sure I've never met another lot of (full blood) siblings who have wildly differing skin tones, that's interesting! Funny about noses being different too. My family all have huge honkers, except me. Mum reckons she used to lay her hand over my face all the time and then laugh about how flat my face was! (cheers Mum!)
