    I can't answer the poll, but ds1 waters broke then labour didn't start and I was induced 24 hours later, I was 38 weeks. Ds2 I was having contractions 7 mins apart for two hours then my waters broke and he was born two hours later, it was the day before my due date. Ds3 my waters broke at midnight after a massive day and I was sooo ready for bed. Contractions started straight away and he was born 4 hours later... I was 38 week again.

    Ds had artificial rupture of membranes about 12 hours after labour started. He was four weeks early.
    Dd spontaneous rupture of membranes after labour started, she was 2 weeks overdue

    Bub was late, didn't have a 'show' and waters were broken (accidentally) by the doctor whilst doing an internal during labor.

    Only 1 out 6 did my waters break before labour and she was slightly early. The rest were late.

    My waters broke before labour started both times and both of the kids were born at 38+2 weeks.

    DD1 contractions began at 6.30am. Got to hospital at 7am and waters broke as they pulled me out of the ambo. DD1 was born at 3.03pm the same day.

    DD2 contractions started at 11am, waters broke about 11.30am and DD2 was born at 1.33pm the same day.

    at 12 days overdue - induced by gel in the evening and waters broke/leaked spontaneously early the following morning. DD born the next day in the wee hours (14days overdue)

    Waters broke on the Monday afternoon (41+2) and I was due to be induced on the Wednesday. I stayed in overnight with no signs of labour so I was induced on Tuesday morning at 9.30am and DS was born at 10.58pm.

    Ds1 spontaneous labour born at 37+4. Waters broke 4:30pm at 37+3 and he was born @ 1:59am next morning.

    Ds2 spontaneous labour born at 39+6. Waters broke 8mins before he arrived
