    I lay down next to the cot and pretend to be asleep or sing or pat him. Sometimes I feed him to sleep.

    Is it any different if your DH puts him to bed? If I put him down I still have to cuddle to sleep, but if DH does he will go to sleep happily in the cot with DH sitting quietly in the rocker.

    Nope, if I stayed with them they'd never fall asleep. We do cuddles, kisses and noses (Eskimo kisses), then tuck ins and say Nie Nie and they'll fight it for a bit but they will always self settle.

    Yeah we have since she was weaned so since she was 21m is now a mth off 3. It's like literally 5-15m and has started sleeping in her own bed all night the last few weeks, not pushing it, we're happy to co sleep anywhere anytime.
