The Wise Women Study

We invite and encourage all pregnant women to participate in a new study which is being run by a provisional psychologist as part of her master’s thesis.

The study involves you evaluating a new program called the WISE Women’s Information Program. The WISE Women’s Information Program was developed by the Communication and Collaboration Project team at the Queensland Centre for Mothers and Babies (QCMB).


The WISE Women’s Information Program is an online program that has been created to help pregnant women become aware of what good communication can look like when talking with maternity care providers and to improve their overall experience of having a baby in a Queensland.


By participating in this study you will have free access to an online program that is aimed to improve your experience of having a baby in Queensland as well as have the opportunity to evaluate the program and play a role in improving the current maternity care in Queensland. You also have the opportunity to go into a prize draw to win one of two $75 VISA debit cards.
