Given you're avoiding animal fats (well, apart from eggs, milk, etc if you eat those), I think it makes perfect sense!
I've now lost 36kg thanks to the gastric sleeve!

I was a vegetarian and a vegan for most of my childhood and young adult life. I've heard it all.

Funny thing is, I ate a huge variety of food and felt much healthier than I do now as a meat eater.

Some people who would criticise me have been known to eat only pale/browny foods - wheat products - meat products - with little nutrients or colour. I ate a huge variety of beautiful, fresh, colourful foods yet I was the "unhealthy" one I often wonder whether they felt threatened by my diet??? One who did criticise me has type 2 diabetes, something I couldn't imagine having as a vegan.
some people are so poor, all they have is money

I think this is excellent news, especially after the Project did a piece on vegan children and had a dietian say it was bad for children.

Also excellent is these findings have been supported and have been published in the medical journal

yeah but you can find a 'study' that supports almost any view point or theory, just because its published doesnt mean its right/true/good

Sure but it depends on where it is published

What this study has found is that the fear mongering of veg*ns not getting enough protein/iron/calcium is unfounded.
