We usually have our steak with mash or boiled veggies or chat potatoes with sour cream and chives.
    Or even beef pot pie.

Have it as a well-cooked steak? If you buy a nice eye-fillet or something, all you need to do is season it and cook it. Yum yum.

Serve it with a lovely pepper or mushroom sauce. I've made this before and it was quite yummy too: http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/1452...ench+eschalots

For cheaper cuts of beef, I'd so a casserole or stir fry (Though you said your partner hates them... that sucks cos there are some really nice ones out there!). Or use strips in a mexican dish.

I use it to make homemade kebabs..slice it really thinly and fry it then chuck it on some leb bread with lettuce, onion, tomato and garlic yoghurt...wrap it up and put it in the sandwich press.

I really like to get a bit of olive oil and put some crushed garlic and chopped rosemary in it..then brush it over your steak and fry it up..Lovely!

We love steak burgers in our house also
