5 years ago DH and I were not married but living together in a rented apartment in Bondi. We were both working in the city and pretty much living the good life with a double income and no kids.

5 years from now we will have a 5 year old daughter and hopefully, a younger sibling for her. We will have extended our house and built a big shed/granny flat down the back. DH will continue to be successful at work and I will be working again hopefully getting my career back on track after having kids.

Five years ago I was nearing my 26 birthday. I was working in a preschool I thought I loved, going through my 2nd or 3rd cycle of iui.

In five years I'll be nearing my 36 birthday my husband and I would of celebrated our 15th anniversary. Dd1 will be almost 8 and dd2 will be almost 5. Hopefully we will have 2 more little ones or at least one on the way

5 years ago I was 28 and a newlywed. I had just come back from our 5 week honeymoon in Europe, had a job I loved & was living the life of a typical DINK.

In 5 years I'll be in my last year as a full time SAHM. Hopefully I'll either be studying or have enrolled in something to help me get back into the workforce. I have no idea what though - my degree is pretty generic so I'm not a qualified "something" and I'd like to change that.

    1. What were you doing 5 years ago?
I was 28! Had our first baby who was a 7 month old (5 months corrected) DD1. We were living in the same house that we had built a couple of years before, DH was working chef hours and we were just managing financially.

    2. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Our youngest (am now pregnant with #4) will be at kinder and our older 3 will be at school. I will have finished my Degree and will be working in a relevant field, probably full time and DH will hopefully be working part time or weekday work and being SAHP for the remainder.
Our house will be paid off (hopefully DH will be starting FIFO in Jan 2013 and will do a few years to pay of the mortgage) and we may be looking to buy a new house out of town.
Hopefully we will be happy, healthy and enjoying life!

5 years ago I was 17, and was just getting my life sorted since leaving my abusive ex for my now DF. I was still living at home and working at McDonalds.

Today I am 22, with 2 daughters, engaged to DF, we own our own house and are about to start building our forever home. Im a SAHM and I'm studying too. I have nothing to do with my family.

In 5 years time I'll be 27, I see myself still a SAHM with our third and final child, living in our forever home. We will be married and probably making the most of no more babies.

5 years ago DD was 4 and I had broken up with my partner of 18 months, suffered a miscarriage and had a break down.

In 5 years I hope to be settled with another 1-2 kids, doing extra study and specialising in early intervention for disabled children.
