strange it was there on my phone, oh well still anyone who took english in high school knows that a sentence that begins in "What" is generally a question the other poster is just trying to rattle cages

I actually read your post and thought 'that's really bad advice, hope that doesn't scare the sh¡T out of the OP'

I'm not trying to start an argument, just point out that the lack of punctuation is confusing.

Ill have to reword it because there was no advice intended in it just a question and that the general you would have to choose the lesser of the two. Just would hate for the advice here for her to flat out refuse cause a court battle that then she has to cart her child off every other weekend where he would do what he pleases anyway.

I think the porta cot idea and legal advice are good ones

Agreed. Though I also agree with pp's that no court would immediately force overnight stays at that age with an absent father.

thats good for the OP maybe talking to him will work. Court is so stressful (even if they side with you) and maybe dad doesnt understand a lot so maybe she can nicely talk to him at first about it. People tend to get bull headed if you just get bull headed and down right refuse to even listen. So if she can nicely discuss it with him maybe it saves a trip to court. Seems a few women on here give advice to just be nasty and refuse and tell dad there is nothing they can do so ha ha this is not always the least stressful way.

I hope you get it worked out OP

OP have you been through mediation in regard to this?

Perhaps the best course of action is as Lovemyfam has suggested, talk to him, but do so in a controlled environment so he can not intimidate you.

Contact relationships australia - They will give you heaps of advice and help FOB understand what is in bub's best interests rather than allowing him to think you're just being difficult for the sake of it.

A lot of people have preconceived ideas in these situations without really knowing how things work. You need to arm yourself with KNOWLEDGE and FACTS - good luck and feel free to PM me if you need advice from someone who has recently been through this sort of thing.
