    I haven't read everyone's replies so sorry if this has been said.

    Last year my ex owed close to 10 grand in unpaid child support. The CSA stepped in and took money from his bank account when he got an inheritance. I had no idea he was getting an inheritance, or even what his bank account details were so I have no idea how they knew.

    If it were me I would keep in close touch with the CSA, even though they're not really helpful, just on the offchance that they might be able to wave their magic wand and take posession of some of the money he receives if he sells his house.
