She thinks maybe I was pregnant and didnt know it and have miscarried hence the low hcg on BT last week. Anyway she has sent me off for an urgent ultrasound this afternoon. I feel crap and all this is not helping !!! Why cant my body just be normal ??? POAS...strong line...good BT result...baby...ggrrrrr

My thoughts and best wishes for a great outcome are with you.
Seems we are both riding the IVF rollercoaster hard today.

Hopefully you have a better outcome than I did though and your little bub is sticky! If not, OB told me that there have been recent studies done that conclude that you are not only more fertile after an early m/c or chem but the pregnancies are usually also healthier. If I can find the study I'll post it Good luck again! X x
Nat - I would be so interested to see that study. Although my HCG did go on to take off a bit better, and we saw a heartbeat on u/s, I miscarried shortly afterwards. I am keen to go again ASAP, but FS would prefer me to wait an extra month. I asked about being more fertile stright after a miscarriage and he said that was only anecdotal. So I would love to see some evidence to back it up.

    Results are in:
HcG went UP (that at least is good)
HcG went from 24 to 40 in 1.5 days.
    Progesterone is now fine.
I remember on Tuesday I had a tiny bit of pink blood in the morning- maybe it was late implantation?

Now the anguish continues- next BT Friday.

    Thanks alot.
It is good that it has gone up, but Friday seems a long way away.
All I can do is pat my tummy and whisper grow... grow...
So emotional I can't even work out whether to smile or cry.

    Oh I totally understand!

Any chance you could get a BT on Wed? Friday is a long away away, to be stressing.

I don't really quite understand why it would be such a long wait. Maybe they figure the difference/lack of difference will be more apparent?
Meanwhile I am to stay on the progesterone pessaries as my crinone has nearly run out.

Maybe ring and speak to the doctor. Just get emotional on the phone & say you're finding it really stressful & for your own peace of mind would really prefer to do BTs on Wed AND Friday so you can monitor progress.

Funny enough I had thought should I call my FS directly. Even just about the progesterone thing.
Maybe I will psyche myself up to not just bawl uncontrollably and call.
