I find this passage to be most disturbing...

"They are little, they are yours, you forget that they have their own wants and needs, you think you can do anything with them, for them, to them."

I can never forget my baby has his own wants and needs, especially 'needs' up till now, and rapidly becoming 'wants'.

I also think the language of the article has a real soft porn feel to it. This woman is also saying many times over that she has had sexual issues in the past, becoming different sexual problems in the now. She doesn't, at least, pretend to be toeing societies line, and thank god most of us don't have feelings this extreme for our kids. It is, indeed, a window into how abuse begins, and she herself says this. I'd be disturbed at my own feelings if I were her, but I certainly wouldn't write a publicly available article about my issues designed to be arousing. I truly hope she resolves her issues, and if writing this article helps, so be it.

Disturbing to me also, is a comment by a reader in the first dozen or so, that merely picks on the grammar of a sentence, without talking about or taking any issue with the article, as though the english expressed is more important than the topic of the article. This comment then sets off a discussion with many comments about grammar. I find it bizarre that that is all someone could possibly get out of that article!

    My thoughts exactly.
I actually had my suspicions about the writer even being a woman,
    until I looked her up.

I am not one to say something like this...

But she is seriously f**ked in the head. She needs help.

I could not get past the bit about looking at her babies bum too long

Now that the boy is older {6? 7 years?} I wonder what she's done to him in private that she hasn't written down.
What is she doing to her infant daughter?

A foul woman with a foul mind.

It sounds bad, but I would like the husband to mention that he finds his children sexually appealing, just so some serious attention is brought to the issue, rather than the praise of "A wonderfully outspoken, modern mother!" and "Such a strong woman with a strong sexuality" which is only some of the approving comments I've read.

The comments are just as disturbing as the article itself. I couldn't read too many before getting depressed.
