Default Baby Shower - Yes or No

    Hi All
I'm just after some opinions/suggestions on what I should do about my baby shower... Our baby girl was due on August 9th, but she arrived on the 24th May @ 29 weeks. I had already set a date for my baby shower at the end of June. I've had invites made up and booked flights for my best friend to come down to Melbourne from Queensland. Now that bubba has arrived I'm unsure whether to go ahead (bubba won't be out of hospital by then) or just wait until bubba is home and have a welcome home party for her. Thoughts...

If all is going well, have a welcome to the world party celebrating your new arrival on the date you planned. A safe arrival at 29 weeks and a new journey into motherhood is worth celebrating. As long as you can take a few hours out to enjoy it, do it I say. I am sure this has all been a bit of a blur until now, so I think it'd be good to celebrate!

I think before she gets home, that way it will be easier to organise and clean up etc. also when she comes home you will mostly likely want some family time.
