    Honestly, the iPad

But he also really, really loves doing puzzles, drawing, and building with blocks
Usually he would live outside if I let him, and choose outdoor-play over anything else, but it's been raining and/or freezing cold so he hasn't been able to play out there in a while

It's all about balance, I think. He is 22 months old this month.

19 month old DS is obsessed in motorbikes so he carries his 3 or 4 little matchbox bikes everywhere as well as his buzz light year toy who he tells how to ride the bikes!
Plus he has a ride on little Ducati so he always speeds around the yard ( and house!)

My girls are 3 & 4.5 yo. They play with everything but the faves are
    Thomas train set
    Barbies
    toy shop
    Toy kitchen
    Colouring in & writing
    Bikes
But tbh their absolute fave things are not toys at all. sticks, stones, cardboard boxes, maps, mud. No good if you're looking to buy a pressie but keeps them busy for ages!
