I say .out of all the boys in the world , how did I end up with the most special one? He thinks it's cute and gets all coy
I call DS my pumpkin pie. If I say "are you my pumpkin?" he says "pumpkin pie".
DS1 asked me something one day and I said no way ho-zay, he replied no way hosie?? So that's what we say now
Ah we have lots but that's all I can think of right now..
I hold DD like a baby & rock her for about a min before putting her to bed & sing her a lulabye.. Even though she's a tall lanky 2yo.. I can't help it.
When doing study/work on the comp, she comes into the computer room and asks 'be the baby?' which means I hold her like a baby, rock & sing her a song about how she's my whole world. So lovely, gentle, pretty, smart etc.
She says 'love you mummy, your my whole world' too
Talking to my DS today "are you my Arthur or daddy Arthur" I get told " no I your babe"
Babe is what I call DH
We play ths game where I sniff for my daughter's "baby smell" which involves me sniffing her face and hair and neck. I always find it even though she's nearly 8 because "she's still my little baby".
Ds is 4
Me: have I told you today that I love u?
Ds: yes yes yes (doesn't matter if I have or haven't)
Me: I love you
Ds; giggles hysterically
Me: You're being cheeky
DS: Cheeky monkey! *big grin*
Me: Yes a very veryyyyy.....
DS: Cheeky monkey!
I also love it when he walks upto me, puts his arms around my neck and says "Ohhhhhhh cuggleeeeeee".
He then walks off and grabs his dolly/teddy and says: Dollyyyy! Ohhhhhhh cuggleeee".
For some reason he doesn't say cuddle, but cuggle. Oh well, he's got global developmental delay and his speech and communication skills are similar to a 20 month old child. So it's better than nothing
