Sorry to throw another option at you but check out the babylove focus. We love love love it and it fits most of your criteria - only it doesn't take a toddler seat.

City select! I can't wait to use it as a double when number 2 comes along. I got put off by the strider because it's just that little bit wider.

Just to throw another one in there what about the bugaboo bee plus? It doesn't take a toddler seat but you can get a skateboard and if you baby wear, number 1 can be in the pram longer

OUt of your options I would go for the BJCS. Have you seen the new Phil & Teds promenade? Ticks all of your criteria...

will check out the others you guys have mentioned but not the bugaboo or iCandy. I don't like bugaboo and iCandy has the worst reviews.

Phil & Teds are actually great. I have one, never had a single problem. I've also owned a BJCS and a Strider Plus and IMO nothing compares to the P&T, hands down. I actually refused to buy one cos I thought I didn't like them but after owning one I honestly wish I never wasted money on the others. They are so much more practical.

does the seat on the strider turn into a bassinet or do you have to buy the bassinet seperately? I can't tell?

The iCandy doesn't look very roomy either and the bugaboo very $$$. The strider seat curls up like a capsule and lies flat like a bassinette but bub would still need to be strapped in. The basinette should that be a huge selling point isn't bank breaking.
