    Default BFP and implantation

Can you get a BFP before an implantation bleed if you tested early in pregnancy but were already overdue for AF ?

From my understanding the bleeding from implantation occurs because the egg is implanting into the uterine lining. Which would mean no you cannot get implantation bleeding after a BFP. But there are plenty of reasons for bleeding to occur while pregnant. I'd see the GP.

I had a faint positive before an implantation bleed but that was before my period was due. Are you sure of when you ovulated?

    Yeh that's my understanding too.

I'm not sure of when I ovulated. Wasn't keeping track. I haven't started bleeding yet just noticed when I wiped it was darker on paper (sorry for tmi). I've got some cramping but hoping its normal and nothing happens. Fx

When was AF due? Hopefully it's just one of those unexplainable pregnancy things and everything goes well x
