She made an illegal turn. It has nothing to do with feeling sick. If the sign says no turning, it means it. I have never seen "no right turn...unless you are going to puke". What would she have done if she were in the tunnel?? You can't pull over there.

Ridiculous. Typically the police won't apply their minds to the situation.

She did the best thing in the situation. Imagine if she kept driving and starting throwing up in the car, which would have potentially caused an accident due to distraction.

And pulling over in a lane is not safe as you could be rear ended.

It's not like she went down a one way street. The streets are not dangerous to turn into, it's merely to prevent rat running through suburban streets.

I have a bit of sympathy for her, but you do the wrong thing, then you get into strife for it.

I would have loved for my partner to speed through traffic, ignoring traffic lights, etc, when I was having my final gall bladder attack as we made our way to the hospital. I'd had it for 24 hours at that point and later tests revealed my liver was suffering. The bumpiness of the ride was excrutiating.

I suspect though, that if he did that, and then we got pulled over the police wouldn't be lenient... and nor should they be. If you're not in a position to drive a car safely, then don't. Or have a bucket beside you spew in. Or pull over to the side (if traffic is that backed up, it won't be a big deal) and spew.
I've now lost 36kg thanks to the gastric sleeve!

prib gonna get flames but i dunno if she is telling the whole truth.
I think shes done what alot of other drivers do to get out of PITA traffic at a notorious spot for it and been busted. The fact she managed to 'breathe' through it is a bit suss. I.would beleive it if she threw up in his face but i rekon she has used the pregnancy to get out of doing something cheeky.

I wouldve done the same thing!!haha

I would have done the safest thing. If crossing traffic was safer than pulling far left with hazards on i would have done that. She should have thrown up on their shoes.
