Default Have you got a decadent Chocolate Cake Recipe?

I'm looking for a recipe for a rich chocolate cake. I have looked online and the choices are endless but I thought someone here might have one they can recommend.

I have one for a sponge cake that I usually use for making the kids birthday cakes - it is a good light sponge but I was after something a bit richer for a friends birthday tomorrow. Anyone got a good (easy!) recipe they can share?

    Cheers!

I've made this dessert cake, very dense, very lovely, and I add raspberries rather than blackberries (you could skip both though). Only drawback is that when I make it, it's not aesthetically pleasing but my friends don't care!

I have one, but I wouldnt call it easy, but it is so, so, so nice! http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/2727...e+custard+cake
You would decorate with something other than Easter eggs though

This is the one I consistently use, it's very moist, dense and rises well.

haven't use this actual recipe, but this would definately be tasty adult chocolate cake. Much more flavour then a standard SR flour, coco, sugar cake.

I use this one. So easy! All in the saucepan and it's richer than a normal choc cake but not as rich as a mud cake
