We adore our rocking chair - wished we had bought it in time for when our first was a newborn. The brand is Hobbe and the style we bought is a Positano. I have spent hours on it with our first born and am looking forward to using it with our second. Worth every cent!

I want one, desperately. DH likes the idea too.

As pickle is due before DH's birthday, which is just before my birthday, we have decided it will be our gift to each other. As the one we want is expensive.

I love my glider and ottoman and I'd have to because I sit in it for hours with DS sometimes! I absolutely wouldn't be without it!

Can anyone provide any feedback on these valco gliders? I am looking for one with good support for a bad lower back and I'm not sure which (if any) of these would be best.

I have the Valco Zen glider and it truly was one of the best things we bought. I used it for every feed with DS (BF til 19 months) and still use it every day and night as part of his bedtime routine. It has been absolutely flogged. After so much use I thought it might be tatty but it's as good as new. Highly recommended. I suggest you go sit in some in a shop if you have back problems though, as the shape varies a bit between designs.

We got a lazy boy rocker recliner. Soooo comfortable and excellent quality. Having leather is great as any spills are easily wiped off.

I bought one off eBay for $200 and never ever used it so I gave it to my father in law for a reading chair! I got too bored sitting in the nursery so I used the couch instead
