Default Overnight baby sitting, how much?

    Hi

I'm babysitting a few kiddlets next weekend as my town has the anual 'Pub Crawl'. Im totally uninterested in going, so thought i'd offer my services.

I have a blue card, am studying to be a teacher aide, have a lot of experience with kids (including special needs), have a great house/yard set up and lots of references.

How much would you charge for a family with 2 children (1 + 3yrs old) overnight? Say from just after midday until just before midday?

I'd charge between 20 and 25 per hour, for the hours the kids are asleep you could go down to 15. Will your own kids be there?

I was kinda thinking $150 for both kids? Does that sounds reasonable?

I wouldn't charge per hour if it's over night, agree with others that $150 sounds reasonable. Will you be supplying dinner/breakfast or the parents? As that's another cost you need to consider.

$150 for both kids sounds totally reasonable. If you do it hourly I'd not charge for the time they're asleep.
