    I found this when I was new to them too! I think the biggest thing was making sure the rings were in the "broach" position. Any lower or higher (especially higher) and it hurt like hell.

    Get it right and I can wear him all day long I think he weighs 11 or 12kg.

    check out youtube clips for wearing it correctly - honestly i couldn't live without youtube when it comes to babywearing! i just found an amazing one for getting baby into a a back-carry position without having to be overly limber - and it worked (even if it wasn't the best carry for either of my two cause they both LOVE to straighten their legs) - but yeah. *youtube*

    I can't tell you how many hours I've you tubed of ring slings!! Uhm roughly the last three months of pregnancy was spent watching ring sling tutorials! I just could never get it.
    I think ive got it today though DD's been sleeping for an hour in it and no pain!

    Ps I'm coming up in about 6 weeks

    i love youtubing wraps/slings especially with M in the room - she always looks at them then declares 'wainbow wap now...peeze?'

    Naw that's cute. DD kicks her legs and squeals the whole time I'm trying put the wrap together

    It may be late August, even early sept. or late July haha either way I'll let you know
