I gave birth to an 11lber 10 days early as the growth scans revealed a big baby.

I was told that it's not until a baby reaches approx the 12lb mark that it starts to get a bit tricky. More to do with the width of the shoulders than the size of the head.

Awesome that they were understanding. I'd be pretty terrified of giving birth to a baby this big! I'm going to the mercy too and am attempting a vbac - they have so far been very supportive.

    Good luck!!

I had a c-section and it was amazing!!

My friend was only 8pds but her mum birthed her 14pd brother first! She got 4KQ mum of the day. I swear I hear that story every time I see her mum...
