Default Chest infection bad for baby?

I am 32 weeks along and have a horrible chest infection, I have a horrible dr and a midwife who doesnt care about anything,
So I went to a medical center today and found out I have a chest infection it hurts so much and I'm strugglen to breath I keep getting DizY because I just don't think I'm getting enough air,
    I was proscribed amoxicillin
I'm so scared how dangerous this could be to my baby not so much the antibiotic because they wouldn't have given it to me if that was bad but the chest infection how bad is it for the baby?
What can I do or what should I do?

You need to take the medication prescribed and try and get better, get someone to make you lemon, chicken soup and lie on the couch and recover if possible! I didn't have a chest infection with DS4 - but I caught a bad gastro bug when preggers and it was awful
If at any time you feel as if you are getting worse, or just feel scared or whatever, then ring Health direct if you are in NSW, I know Vic has a 24 hour nurses number - so I assume there is one in each state..
    Hope you feel better!

I don't think the infection itself will harm your bub. In saying that, be mindful of staying hydrated.

Of course you're scared, its natural, just remember though - even though you are going through a rough time, bubs will be ok.
