With my first pregnancy I did a 'well it'll be negative but i'll do one anyway' test 1 week before my period was due (so in *theory* 1 week after ovulation / conception) and it came back positive in 10 seconds.

My second pregnancy I did a test at 1 week before period and got a strong negative, 1 week later I did another test and got a weak positive

Definitely varies, some women get one very early and some don't until 5 or 6+ weeks.
I got my BFP this time at 8DPO, first time I didn't test until after my missed period but it was twins so probably would have gotten another early one.

    Good luck

So the average looks about 8 days... I will be POAS in 1 weeks time, if I ovulated when I think I did.
I got very mixed signals this month, I am supposed to ovulate any time from today till Friday, however, on Sunday I had discharge that was a lot like EWCM but it had a strain of blood in it, we BD on Friday night, we used maybe baby because he was going away for work, so testing... Should I test next Wednesday? Lol
