    Default SA dog rescue?

Anyone know much about them? I have heard they have a no kill policy but am asking to make sure.

I'm in a really crappy situation
Around 18 months ago I found a dog left for dead in my clients backyard (worked in mental health) She was so skinny and looked awful. There's no RSPCA in this town I worked in, only the pound so she would've been put down straight away.

We decided to take her home, get her healthy and find her a home.
Well fast forward to now and nobody has wanted her and we really fell in love with her but we aren't in a position to have a dog long term (we're moving). I was told SA dog rescue will put her in foster care and then home her. Does anyone know how this works? My dp is devastated that we can't keep her but we've already had her too long

It's definitely a good idea that she goes to a rescue that uses the foster system rather than giving her away through gumtree or similar.

Yes this is what I was thinking. It's sad but so many people mistreat animals.

I know when I fostered, I was really picky with who my babies went with.
I always did a yard inspection and dogs went on a 2 weeks only trial in which time either party were able to decide to end the trial for whatever reason.

It's a great way to go.
