Set a timer for 15 minutes- you'd be surprised what you can get done in 15 minutes! I do this as soon as DS is in bed, I can usually get the kitchen clean and all the toys tidied away in 15 minutes. Most of time time i'll be able to knock over something else as well, like cleaning out some of the fridge or washing a few windows. Then I stop when the timer goes off. If I can be bothered I do this again 15 minutes before DP comes home and do the same again plus sweep the floor or do a spot vaccuum.
