I got home made vouchers from my immediate family

    ie

several cooked dinner vouchers with my favourite foods, babysitting vouchers, chill out time vouchers etc

the best one was from my mum - she gave me 5 vouchers for "its the middle of the night and bub wont sleep but I'm so tired I could cry - Please help me". Meant that I would only have to ring and she was over in 20min.

I used them ALL up in the first 5wks!

Great for nighttime feeds so you don't have to turn any bright lights on and bub doesn't get too stimulated!!

OP I second the singlet suits for layering in winter. So much easier as I find the singlets ride up also.

That towel material bath thing, which I also have no clue what it's called , has been used religiously in this house. It was only $13 from Toys R Us to.

It sounds a bit gross but a snot sucker is very useful. My DD has been snuffly for 7 weeks now and her pediatrician said it could last all winter yet. So it's getting a workout!
Haha thank you for the suggestions, and mum laughed when I told her I wanted a snot sucker i've been eyeing off those terry bath things, I completely forgot to mention that to mum when she asked the first time! they look far more comfy for bubs than the plastic ones with the crotch bit.

And that light site is wonderful isn't it? I've passed it on to my recently preggo friend too, so when she knows if it's a blue or pink one she'll be buying from there too
