    Default Quick urgent question for teachers K-3 who are doing C2C.....

    What is the unit 4 focus??????????????/

    I have to do a supply day tomorrow and the lady said that as the teacher's been away for 2 days there might not be a program..

    I'd like to keep the kids (a P-3 multiage class) fairly on track....

    Anyone around to give me a heads-up?

    I 'think' it's stereotypes??? (that's what O and J are doing) If I aim for grade 2 I can level up and down... do all the grades have the same focus but with different levels of text???

    I don't think they have the same focus - oh and I'm on yr 4 so I can't help.

    The book resources for units 3 and 4 are things like the paperbag princess and the true story of the three little pigs.. so I'm (wildly) guessing that there could be a stereotype focus.....

    Argh... maybe I'll just get them doing multiple intelligence spelling activities all day.................

    Lol - well we went from Roald Dahl 'The twits' to a historical recount!!

    I'd say report cards are underway at the moment ... Wouldn't hurt to do you own little book study for the day if you felt like it ... Link in Maths and art and your day is set

    I think that was unit 3?

    I think unit 4 is something to do with narratives? (sorry, that was no help was it, I work in learning support)

    I'm teaching C2C English unit 4 at the moment in year 3 and it's ours is on procedural texts and looking at the book sometimes love is under your foot at the moment don't know if that helps

    I teach C2C year 2... Unit 4 is on fairy tales, folk tales and fractured fairy tales then using them as persuasive texts. Unit 3 was stereotypes.
    Unfortunately they are all on different focusses! All the best!!!!
