Exclamation Advice needed on morph scan!

Today I had my morph scan at 19 weeks exactly. All measurements were good, but they couldn't see spinal ossification yet, and now I have to go back in a week.

Has anyone had this or heard of this? I'm really worried my baby might have a spinal problem.

    Thanks

I am not sure about the ossification part. but it is common that people have to go back in for a second scan due to not being able to see the spine correctly in ultrasound. A friend had her morph at 18weeks, and had to go back at 22wks to get it checked.

Your welcome :-) I googled ossification - and it just came up with stuff after the baby is born. lol - so not sure what they are looking for.

I called the hospital today and she said sometimes its just too early to see if the bones have joined properly. I'm still left not feeling 100% confident but I don't think anything will until I know what the findings are next week.
