Default Garage sales: how much do clothes sell for?

Hi, how much should I be pricing my baby clothes at at a garage sale? What about women's clothing?

Will it sell better if I hang the clothing up (women's) or if I lay it on a table?

Women's clothing can go from anywhere from 50c upwards depends on quality.

I am generally happy to pay a couple of dollars per item unless it is new with tags or is a designer label then I will pay more. I have never paid over $20 for a single item even when new at a garage sale, and that is rare, I usually pay $2-5 and find these prices sell well.

Baby clothes are usually around 50c each for things like jumpsuits, singlets, t-shirts. I will pay a couple of dollars per item for older babies/kids but these are pretty easy to find so I do not pay more.

I like adult clothes to be hung up as they are easier to browse through.

Kids clothes are fine folded, in size piles and hang little dresses or nice outfits up if you can.

I actually wash and iron all clothes before I sell them on garage sales and they are always purchased as they look nicer.

If you have a lot of baby/kids clothes you may want to sell them in a group eg 6 singlets for $2 or a shopping bag full for $10.

Ebay does well for baby/kids clothes and usually if sold in bulk.
