Default What size clothes did your baby wear when born?

Just asking about what size clothes your baby wore when first born. The size of wondersuits or whatever they wore first. I thought 0000 was pretty average but now I've talked to three new mums whose bubs all wore 5x0 born roughly around due date, give or take a few days.

My DD started in 0000 wondersuits but only wore these for a couple of weeks before she grew out of them. She was 9lb 5oz though (or 4.23kg) so a bit of a whopper. She's now 2 days short of 6 weeks old and has nearly grown out of 000 outfits. Need to buy some 00 clothes quick smart!

I am pretty sure it was 0000 for the first couple of weeks, with bubs born at 41 weeks. They grew out of that size quickly though so i didn't get too many really small things, 5x0 would have been too tiny.

DS was 2.8kg's and wore 4x0, he probably could of worn 5x0 but I didn't have any of those and they would not of lasted long enough to bother buying them after he was born.

DS1 was born 4.2kg 54.5cm and went straight into 000, was 00 by two months of age.

DS2 was born 3.4kg 51cm and was 0000 for a week or two, but he's catching up fast and now at 2 months of age most 000 are too small and he's mostly in 00.

Bonkers is offline wishes she was a glow worm. A glow worm's never glum, 'cos how can you be grumpy when the sun shines out of your bum?

DD started off in 5x0s for the first 2 weeks. Ive also noticed that DD may fit into a size 0 Bonds Wondersuit when she normally fits into a 00 Target/Big W jumpsuit.

My first three children went straight into 0000, they were 3.6kg, 4.1kg and 3.9kg at birth.

My fourth baby I had to go out and buy 00000 as he was tiny at 3.1kg at birth.
