I have been rejected twice on facebook and I was really surprised that I did feel a bit paranoid.... They were girls I went to school with, I didn't hang around with them, but knew them. These were people who I hadn't seen in nearly 20 years and they had the power to make me feel insecure?!?! Very bizarre, but sadly, I now wait for people to add me so I don't feel rejected. Too bad, if everyone else feels the same as me, noone will ever add people!! Ha ha....

I don't add just anyone. I do add people (or give my details to see if they want to add me!!), but only if they are either friends or people I interact with a lot.

I have a lot of Hubbers on there now. About half are from my due group and the rest we have either had PM chats or chat a lot in threads so I feel I know them before I add them.

    Oh, snap

The only person who ever befriended me via bubhub and then added me on Facebook deleted me yesterday! Evidently I wasn't paying her enough personal attention.

Instances like this remind me why I don't worry about going out on a limb to make friends.
