Default starting my child in care

my DS is 2 but quite big for his age. he has a terrible temper/behavioral issue he is a sweet child but goes from happy to crazy cranky throwing this hitting and kicking instantly.
I thought maybe he needed to some social interaction so I put him in home family day care but after 4 weeks the seperation anxiety was still so bad he was asked to leave. she suggested to wait 6 months then try him in a child care centre.
I'm not sure what I should do how do I cope with the temper and seperation anxiety if I do send him to a day care centre

Playgroup? Perhaps an actual centre would be better because they have the experience. My ds is a biter And his centre is fantastic with trying out new ways to stop it.
